At Barford Court, our experienced and compassionate team provides high-quality residential care in a welcoming and safe environment, designed to help residents feel comfortable, valued and at home.

Located by the seafront and close to the breath-taking landscapes of the South Downs National Park, we provide care within a beautifully restored Art Deco (Grade listed II) building and garden. We can support up to 40 residents with permanent care or short stay respite breaks.

What we offer:

Extensive courtyards including a pergola, summer house, fish pond and terraces.
Our Dementia House has a sensory garden and assistive technology including iPads, dementia friendly signage, SMART TV’s connected to Amazon, Netflix and YouTube, and Virtual Reality. We have information screens to access community contacts via the Brighton and Hove Dementia in-reach team.
Regular activities from arts and crafts classes, indoor bowling to cooking and baking sessions, and visits from local schoolchildren. The day centre is open to non-residents, offering the chance to connect and make friends.
Our minibus supports residents to stay connected with their communities, from trips to Brighton town centre to the local beach, and other areas of interest.
