At James Terry Court, our diligent care team is trained to support residents living with dementia in a warm and safe environment, alongside facilities that promote their health and wellbeing.

We start from the position of what a person ‘can do’, working with each resident and their loved ones, so they feel involved and have their say in how care is delivered.

What we offer:

  • A dedicated Dementia House. The care team in this area receive specialist training on a range of topics, from supporting behaviours to meaningful activities and communication 
  • A sensory garden to support our residents’ mental health and wellbeing, a sensory room with virtual reality experiences and dementia-friendly signage
  • Inclusive daily activities to support residents with all abilities, as well as 1-2-1 experiences to support individual interests and cognitive stimulation
