Albert Edward Prince of Wales Court reveals new reception area

Residents and staff at Albert Edward Prince of Wales Court in Porthcawl are enjoying their newly refurbished reception area in time for Christmas.
Work started to transform the front interior of the Home in August and included a new reception desk, office refurbishment, visitor rooms, furniture, carpets and decorations. The area is spacious and welcoming, with a cosy fireplace, Christmas tree and decorations for everyone to enjoy.
Simon Roberts, Facilities Manager says:
It’s been a testing few months for everyone but we’re so pleased to open our new reception area at the Home. We think it’s pretty special and we’re glad to be able to have this ready in time for Christmas; our residents have already been enjoying the new space.
Resident Jean Flower, said:
Our new reception area is modern, bright and welcoming. It’s a comfortable area to relax with residents. The new information desk is a great improvement and also accommodates wheel chairs.
