Residents and staff at RMBI Care Co. Homes across the UK recently celebrated Elf Day to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s Society.
Staff at the Homes dressed up in elf costumes and t-shirts, and organised lots of festive fun for residents to enjoy. Among the Christmas treats were Christmas movie showings with hot chocolate, seasonal quizzes and elfie selfie sessions.
Among the RMBI Care Co. Homes taking part was Prince Michael of Kent Court in Watford. Prince Michael of Kent Activities Coordinator, Tracy Lydon, said:
We are passionate about supporting people living with dementia and raising awareness about the condition in our local area. Elf Day was a great day for both residents and staff. We love getting into the spirit and dressing up, and raising funds in the process was a great bonus!
