RMBI Care Co. announces new Development Director

Debra Keeling has been announced as the new Development Director at RMBI Care Co., following her previous role as Deputy Development Director.

Looking forward to her new position, Debra says:

After working as part of the Development Team since its conception in 2018, I am very much looking forward to delivering the next phase of our strategic plan.

Debra takes over from Kevin Harris, who retires after 30 years of service at RMBI Care Co.

Debra joined RMBI Care Co. in 2007 as a Dementia Care Advisor within the Care Operations Team. The role was created to lead on creating more person centred dementia services across the charity’s care homes.

Before joining RMBI Care Co., Debra held several roles at the Alzheimer’s Society including Service Development, which ran support groups for carers of people living with dementia. She also coordinated support groups for people who had been diagnosed with dementia, as well as developing and managing services for younger people living with dementia.

Debra has advised on meaningful environments after completing the Stirling University Auditor learning and is qualified as a Dementia Mapper.

 Throughout my time at RMBI Care Co., the services have constantly changed to adapt to the people who live, work and visit our homes. The charity continues to monitor and research new and improved ways to ensure every resident is supported in the most meaningful way,
