Harry Priestley House’s Home Manager receives ‘Superhero’ award from local schoolchildren

Care Home Manager Anne Stobart from Harry Priestley House, in Thorne, Doncaster, has been awarded the ‘Superhero’ award for her services to the local community. She says:

We were very proud to be nominated along with other local heroes, and to receive this award is amazing.

Anne has received the heartfelt award at Green Top Primary School for contributing to making the community a better place for residents and children to live in. The nominations are put forward by parents and children, and the awards ceremony was organised by teachers and Key Stage 1 pupils at the school.

Anne attended the ceremony with Paul, one of the residents at Harry Priestley House. She says:

The team at our care home are passionate about involving our residents in their community, and we work closely with the local school and church to help us achieve this goal.

I believe everyone has something to offer; Paul and I were thrilled to attend the awards event supported by teachers, parents and schoolchildren of Green Top Primary School.
