RMBI Care Co. empowers future leaders through leadership development training

RMBI Care Co. has delivered its latest round of Leadership Development training. The programme helps colleagues across the organisation build the skills and confidence they need to excel in their roles and provide high-quality leadership.
As part of the organisation’s commitment to supporting its staff, two structured programmes are available: the Management Development Pathway Programme for first line managers and those preparing for a management role, and the Leadership Development Programme for senior managers who want to strengthen their strategic approach.
The Management Development Pathway Programme gives participants key management skills to help them progress. Over six months, they explore topics such as self-awareness, communication and influencing skills, teamwork, delivering results, , time management, delegation, managing difficult conversations, coaching, and holding personal development reviews and 1-1 meetings.
For senior managers, the Leadership Development Programme focuses on building strong leadership habits. Participants learn how to apply a range of tools across different areas including leadership behaviours, motivating teams, time management, clear communication and ways to improve team performance.
Dementia Lead Valerie Allen, who attended the latest training course, says:
I found the Leadership Development training extremely beneficial as I have developed skills in effective communication, emotional intelligence, problem-solving, strategic thinking and many other areas. The course has also helped me gain confidence as I transitioned from one role to another.
Since participating in the course, I have been able to create an action plan and set exciting goals to achieve more within my role and support my teams through the shared vision we have for our Home, Prince George Duke of Kent Court.
