Explore our ratingOriginally built in the 1840s and set amongst landscape gardens, Zetland Court provides residential care and residential dementia support for up to 67 residents with permanent care or short stay respite breaks. We are just a short walk away from the sandy beaches in Bournemouth.
We provide an array of care support for a diverse group of people. Our care is relationship based; we encourage a sense of community and we believe in having fun. By providing the right support, our residents are able to maintain their life choices, hopes and dreams, to support them in and through their life journey.

Zetland Court can support up to 39 people in the residential area. We have 10 carers during the day and five carers at night. They are supported by designated Shift Leaders, a registered Nurse and two experienced Unit managers.
In our Dementia House, we have a designated Manager and we are able to provide care for up to 18 people.
There are six carers on duty during the day and three carers at night, supported by the Shift Leader. We support people of a varied age range and dementia.
Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care.
One of our Deputy Managers is an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse who supports the team in providing safe and effective care to our residents. The other Deputy Manager is also an experienced Dementia Manager.
We have a 24-hour nurse call system installed in all our residents’ rooms. Some of the residents have a personal alarm to carry, so they can call for assistance if required.
To support our residents’ health and wellbeing, we have two dedicated Activities Coordinators who organise a variety of activities, community initiatives, as well as trips outside of the Home
Please note that the level of care each person receives will depend on their individual needs. This is continuously monitored and reviewed to ensure each person receives the right level of care. Staffing levels may be adjusted in different areas of the Home to support the level of care required by residents at any particular point in time.
