Staff at Zetland Court, in Bournemouth, pulled out all the stops this week to create some early Christmas cheer for their residents.
The team dressed up in festive costumes for a cosy Christmas Fair at the Home. They organised a bottle lottery, a lucky dip raffle and a craft stall. The craft stall had some lovely hand-made gifts and decorations which were kindly made by Michele Huxford, who is part of the Home’s catering team.
The fair raised £200 which is being donated to the Christmas Appeal for St Ambrose Church in Westbourne.
Zetland Court Activities Coordinator, Karen Casey, said:
We normally have quite a large scale Christmas Fair, inviting the local community to join us. We had to do things a bit differently this year for obvious reasons, but our residents still had a lot of fun! Seeing our staff dressed as giant turkeys and Christmas puddings certainly gave everyone a good giggle!
