Queen Elizabeth Court residents celebrate Talk like a Pirate Day

Residents at Queen Elizabeth Court, in Llandudno, recently enjoyed celebrating Talk Like a Pirate Day with pirate activities, such as ‘bomb the pirate ship’, ‘pin the patch on the pirate’ and pirate themed cupcakes, which went down well with a nip of rum.

Residents also took part in a mini quiz to name the Amazon green parrot, followed by sea shanties accompanied by an accordion with the staff.

Jenny Rye, one of Queen Elizabeth Court’s Activities Coordinators, said:

Our residents and staff at Queen Elizabeth Court had a fantastic time celebrating Talk like a Pirate Day. We really enjoy hosting fun and unique activities to entertain them.
