Harry Priestley House residents celebrate World Book Day

It’s the day when thousands of people join in a worldwide celebration of books and reading. Residents at Harry Priestley House, in Thorne, Doncaster, enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book characters to mark the 25^th anniversary of World Book Day earlier this month. To celebrate the event, the Home’s staff organised a tea party and a mini disco which the residents thoroughly enjoyed.

Our residents and staff at Harry Priestley House had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day this year. We really enjoy dressing up. There were smiles all around as residents enjoyed the tea party.
