Scarbrough Court staff bring on the Christmas cheer for residents

Kind-hearted staff at Scarbrough Court, in Cramlington, Northumberland pulled out all the stops to create lots of Christmas cheer for their residents.

The team dressed up as Santa’s elves for a cosy Christmas celebration at the Home. Residents and staff enjoyed decorating the Christmas tree, made Christmas wreaths, table centre pieces and other crafts.

Scarbrough Court Activities Coordinator, Stacey Hunter said:

Christmas is a very important time of year for our Home with many exciting activities and events taking place. Our residents enjoy getting involved with decorating the Home and planning events such as the annual Christmas fair. However, for some of our residents Christmas can feel like a lonely time which is why it is important to have a balance of reflective activities that promote reminiscence.
