Harry Priestley House residents celebrate World Book Day

It’s the day when thousands of people join in a worldwide celebration of books and reading. Residents at Harry Priestley House, in Thorne, Doncaster, enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book characters to mark World Book Day earlier this month. To celebrate the event, the Home’s staff organised a tea party and a storytelling session which the residents thoroughly enjoyed.

Our residents and staff at Harry Priestley House had a lovely time celebrating World Book Day this year. We really enjoy dressing up. There were smiles all around as residents enjoyed listening to their favourite stories.
