Explore our ratingRated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, Devonshire Court is located in a peaceful residential area in Oadby, Leicester, surrounded by four and a half acres of landscaped gardens. We provide residential care and residential dementia support for up to 69 residents with permanent care or short stay respite breaks.

Devonshire Court can support up to 49 people living in our residential areas: Star Centre, Trusted Avenue and Supportive Way. In our Kindness Suite, we care for up to 20 people with complex conditions, including dementia.
We have approximately 17 experienced carers during the day, and a minimum of 7 experienced carers during the night. Our carers are a combination of experienced carers with at least one Level 3 carer and one Care Team Leader supervising on each floor. Our Senior Care Team Leader oversees the delivery of care in our Home with the support of our Deputy Manager and Home Manager, who are both qualified Social Workers.
Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care. Devonshire Court also provides specific and tailored training in areas including Dementia care and Parkinson’s disease.
We have a 24-hour nurse call system installed in all our residents’ rooms. Some of the residents have a personal alarm to carry, so they can call for assistance if required.
We have four dedicated Activities Coordinators who organise a variety of activities as well as trips outside the Home, to support our residents’ health and wellbeing. We also provide weekly music to movement sessions to promote mobility and wellbeing for our residents.
We have fluent Polish, Romanian, Punjabi, Spanish and Gujarati speakers.
Please note that the level of care each person receives will depend on their individual needs. This is continuously monitored and reviewed to ensure each person receives the right level of care. Staffing levels may be adjusted in different areas of the Home to support the level of care required by residents at any particular point in time.
