Brett Edwards, Health and Safety Director at RMBI Care Co., has been elected Chair of the National Association for Safety and Health in Care Services (NASHiCS).

Taking on the prestigious role, Brett says:

I am excited and honoured to be selected to chair the Association. It will give me the opportunity to support our membership of safety and care professionals, shaping the structure and delivery of health and safety policies through strong partnerships with regulatory bodies and other key stakeholders.

Having previously supported NASHiCS as part of the National Executive Committee, Brett will now lead as Chair for the Association for the next two years. He will also continue in his role as Health and Safety Director at RMBI Care Co., which provides residential care, nursing and residential dementia support to older people in 18 care homes in England and Wales.

Mark LLoyd, Managing Director at RMBI Care Co., says:

I am delighted to celebrate Brett as the new Chair of the Association. His leadership on health and safety for RMBI Care Co. has ensured that best practice is embedded across the organisation, so it is brilliant that he can now utilise his considerable skills and expertise on a national platform in the support of colleagues.

Brett says:
