Christmas shines at Shannon Court as residents whip up traditional Christmas pudding

Christmas magic is already coming at Shannon Court, in Hindhead (Surrey), as residents have recently joined together for a festive Christmas pudding-making extravaganza.

With holiday tunes playing, Activities Coordinator Saffire kicked things off by sharing the story of Christmas pudding. Meanwhile, Chef Manager Rob even brought his grandmother’s special recipe, complete with brandy and Guinness for added cheer!

Residents Betty and Daphne made wishes as they mixed the batter, sneaking licks of the bowls and spoons, which brought back fond childhood memories. Activities Coordinator Leah said with a smile:

It’s not as fun if you don’t lick the bowl!
