There was a joyful atmosphere at Shannon Court, in Hindhead (Surrey), as residents, staff and friends came together recently to enjoy a truly special Ladies’ Night.
In the days leading up to the event, the Home was abuzz with activity as residents took part in flower arranging to help decorate the lounge and dining areas. The talented residents carefully created beautiful floral displays, setting the scene for an elegant and uplifting evening.
The evening itself was organised by Shannon Court’s Association of Friends, a charity that supports the Home by befriending residents and raising funds for various activities. Caterplus, the Home’s catering provider, offered a delicious three-course meal especially for the occasion. The dining room was filled with smiles and warm conversation as residents gathered to celebrate.
Each lady received a thoughtfully chosen gift as a token of appreciation, and live entertainment brought music and laughter to the event, making it a night to remember.
Steve Stace, the Home’s Business Manager, says:
Events like this are a cherished part of life at Shannon Court, where the sense of community, friendship and joy is felt by everyone. Our sincere thanks go to the Association of Friends, Caterplus and our wonderful staff for making this evening so special.
