Scarbrough Court residents enjoy fun-packed Sports Day

Residents and staff at Scarbrough Court, in Northumberland, laced up their trainers and enjoyed taking part in a series of games during a Sports Day at the Home. The staff organised and participated in a range of games, such as a space hopper obstacle course, tea relays, water challenge, speed and agility race and tug of war. Residents and their relatives watched with excitement, cheering everyone on.

Resident Eileen said:

Today has been lots of fun with the games. We’ve had a wonderful day. It was funny to watch the staff get soaked during the water relay game.

Richard White, Clinical Nurse Manager, commented:

It is always a thrill bringing residents and staff together. We had a lot of fun and events like these really help to boost morale and teamwork within the Home.
