Food and Nutrition
Harry Priestley House is a residential home where we can support up to 12 residents with learning disabilities.
There are two shifts during the day (7am-2pm, and 2pm-9pm) and both are covered by a Shift Leader and five carers. Three of the staff from each shift provides one-to-one funded support to residents with complex needs.
During the night, the Home is staffed by two waking night care support workers.
Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care and complete ongoing mandatory training.
Please note that the level of care each person receives will depend on their individual needs. This is continuously monitored and reviewed to ensure each person receives the right level of care. Staffing levels may be adjusted in different areas of the Home to support the level of care required by residents at any particular point in time.
