Barford Court introduces Wellbeing Baskets to support staff health and wellbeing

Staff at Barford Court, in Hove, are benefiting from a new initiative designed to promote health, comfort and wellbeing during their shifts.
The Home has now introduced Wellbeing Baskets across all areas, giving team members easy, 24-hour access to a range of practical and comforting essentials. Each basket is carefully curated to support both physical and mental wellbeing, helping staff stay refreshed and recharged throughout the day.
Items include rehydration electrolyte sachets, deodorant wipes, mini hand creams, personal care products and relaxing eye patches, which are ideal for taking a moment to pause during a busy shift.

A simple idea making a meaningful difference
Training Manager Nora says:
We wanted to create something simple but meaningful, to show our team how much they’re valued. The Wellbeing Baskets are there whenever staff need a little boost during their shift.
The initiative has been warmly welcomed by colleagues across the Home. This initiative reflects Barford Court’s ongoing commitment to supporting its people and creating a positive workplace culture, where staff feel valued, supported and empowered to deliver the highest standard of care.
