Strong performance across charity portfolio

Recent regulatory inspections from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) confirm RMBI Care Co.’s solid performance and high standards of care in a post-Covid era.

Albert Edward Prince of Wales Court, in Porthcawl, maintained its ‘Fully Compliant’ outcome following its latest inspection by CIW. A May 2023 report for the Home states:

There is a strong sense of teamwork amongst staff, who are led by a pro-active, well-respected manager.

The report adds: “The environment and facilities are of a high standard, enabling a strong sense of community, and provision of choice as to where to spend time. People receive care and support in a warm, clean and comfortable environment which meets the needs of the people living at the service.”

The South Wales Home was further recognised as a ‘Top 20 Care Home in Wales’ in the 2023 Carehome.co.uk awards, which is based on reviews from residents, their families and friends.

Scarbrough Court, in Northumberland, was also inspected and achieved an overall ‘Good’ rating by CQC. The CQC report in June 2023, said:

The home was comfortable, personalised, and adapted to meet people’s individual needs.

In regards to staff, it added: “Staff were well supported and felt valued.”

These inspections provide confirmation of the charity’s robust internal auditing, and strength of the management teams and care staff.

RMBI Care Co. currently has three care homes rated ‘Outstanding’ with CQC, which includes Prince Michael of Kent Court, in Watford; Connaught Court, in York; and Devonshire Court, in Leicester.
